The Blessed Gentle Ones
Today I’m limiting my exposure to the assertive ones. The unyielding types. The grumpy ones; those that take advantage of, and the ones that blow up at whim, and don’t offer any soothing or caring afterwards.
I know they may be this way due to some inner pain and defense, but I no longer chose to be in this triggering space with them anymore if it can be avoided.
These presences have unnerved me, rattled me, and made me feel small in this lifetime. And as a result, precious moments are sifting through my hands. I have let these hard times steal my happiness, my progress, my relaxed joy, as I find it so hard to shake the feelings of pain that I feel in the presence of these souls. And for my life and my soul’s purpose, I need to block the effects of these souls on my heart and mind.
I want to be with the soft ones. The warm and relaxed ones. Those that understand that a quiet tone, and a gentle approach supports in immeasurable ways, and allows life to flow as it needs to, in an easier and relaxed way.
The truth doesn’t get missed in these gentler interactions. The needed conversations and boundaries still exist. But there is a greater ability to accept the hard moments when they are encased in gentleness, acceptance and an openness to multiple ways of viewing a situation.
I will move towards the soft ones, the Type Z’s; the dreamers, those that live in the perpetual grey of situations, seeing many sides and possibilities.
I will move toward the gentle ones, the knowing ones, the safe feeling ones. I sit in and around this energy and revel in the relaxed and peaceful way I feel.
I honour the caring and the knowing souls. I honour the wisdom and vigilance that they possess to not add to a person’s chaos, but instead to soothe and support.
I stand alongside you and feel the warmth of your safe and accepting presence. You are the gurus in this life, the ones that create ripple effects of goodness.
You are revered and honoured by me, and I thank you.
