The Sacred Night

This summer and fall, and into the winter, I slowed down my pace a little to try and reclaim some more feeling of ease in my body and in the flow of my days. I remember on one full moon, I believe July full moon, feeling down about the inequalities of life. I was thinking - I have always had enough food and cozy circumstances, a family, a job and others in every part of the world were not having food each day, shelter, love, support and safety, or any nervous system rest. And it made me so sad. My mind got to wondering. Imagine if all 8 billion of us got to enjoy a tasty meal, and then enjoy a warm, peaceful and relaxing sleep. That would be so beautiful.

I decided if there was any possibility that me envisioning this happening for people, could possibly draw this reality closer to us, I was more than happy to try and articulate a vision, and capture it on paper for others to read and help create this dream.

The Sacred Night

The hope to have one sacred night for all beings, was envisioned and created by a group of powerful souls that had cultivated enough courage, inner power and ability to use of their unique gifts, to envision and turn this night in a reality.

The plan or intention of this night was simple. On this one sacred night, every single being - without exception - had a sacred feast for dinner, followed by a lovely peaceful evening, and an exceptionally comfortable, warm and restful night sleep.

So the preparations from the universe began.

On the lands all around the planet, even those that had sustained the most environmental damage, a healing rain was sent to fall on the lands. This rain fell following the powerful intention that was created from the group of caring souls.

The rain drops created an alchemy - a healing balm that infused the land with everything it needed to thrive, and all impurities were absorbed and alchemized into compost. From this soul soil, incredible plants of all kinds began to grow. Fruit trees and gardens and grains were abound. The waters sparkled with aliveness. It was so beautiful what was grown on the land, and how the waters were purified, from this healing rain. All of nature was so grateful and comforted by this authentic healing of the lands and the waters.

From here, all beings got ready for a nourishing feast.

At the sacred feasts, some sat to eat alone, others gathered in small and large communities.

An empty plate area transformed into limitless servings of food and drink. Every delicacy for all beings was provided and was enjoyed in all the various cooking methods. Even the birds filled their bellies and tigers on their backs, stretched after their satisfying meal. The bugs, the reptiles, the mammals and beings of all kinds united in that satisfying feeling after consuming a richly full meal.

Eaten in peace, savouring and feeling the gratitude to eat in silence or if desired, to eat this special feast with a few fellow souls or an entire community.

The feast was complete and beings then cleaned up, feeling the gratitude of being able to tidy up and put to order again their space. Digestions hummed as people got up and moved around after their feast to create harmony in the space.

Once all cleaning was done, happily tired from this task, all beings were invited to get comfortable and curl up in the warm, cozy and comfortable space or bedding that was prepared for them. Babies all laid cozy with milk in their bellies, and those previously feeling the pains of life were relaxed, with slow deep breaths and a feeling of coziness all around them.

Some lay on soft pine needles, or a cozy nest, or soft blankets and pillows and warmth all around, a peaceful night sleep ensued for all beings.

As the final being drifted off to sleep, the universe felt for the energy of all the earth around her as all beings slept away - finally, she breathed a contented breath. Order and harmony and caring love to all beings was restored. Her work was done, she could turn off now and have a lovely, comforting hibernation sleep herself.
